Midwest Region CESU Joint Annual Meeting in Dubuque, Iowa
September 2-3, 2009

We're excited to announce a joint meeting of three CESUs (Great Lakes/Northern Forest, Great Plains, and Great Rivers). While the NPS Midwest Region is taking the lead on this meeting, the meeting will include and be of benefit to all partners. Please save the dates of September 2 & 3, 2009 to join us at The National Mississippi River Museum and Aquarium in Dubuque, IA. This year our theme is: CESU Sponsored Research and National Rivers. (See our flyer.)

Welcome

The Great Rivers CESU is part of a network of cooperative ecosystem studies units (see map below) focusing on high-quality science, usable knowledge for resource managers, responsive technical assistance, continuing education, and cost-effective research programs. The GreatRivers CESU is a cooperative effort of seventeen institutions and seven federal agencies whose goal is to focus on the objectives listed above in the geographic area of the upper and middle Mississippi Valley. The Great Rivers CESU was formerly the Upper and Middle Mississippi Valley CESU.
